You may have noticed a little comment stenciled onto a wall on campus that said, ” KSU PARKING: MAKING YOU MISERABLE SINCE 1963.” Which isn’t just hyperbole. I found this article in the second issue of the Sentinel published on October 31, 1966.
This before instagram.
The composition of this photo is stunning. It’s not great art, but it’s certainly great photography,
I’ve been listening to these podcasts for a few weeks and I’ve got to share. RadioFreeArt is more of a theatrical performance than podcast, really, but if you follow the Free Art movement, then you are probably going to want to bookmark or sign up for the RSS feed.
In this episode, RadioFreeArt teases a batch of Blockheads dropping Saturday the 10th at 3 p.m.
FAF just stepped up to multi-media, son. Whose going to shoot the documentary?
My first week at KSU, I noticed a Mewtwo stenciled on the back of a stop sign. Ever since then, I’ve been searching for all 150, but the anti-graffitti league at KSU has been scrubbing them off of walls. Here are a few of the remaining 150, I’ve found.
I know for a fact the Mewtwo has been covered up, though. #sadday
#123 - Scyther (Only known existing stencil left): On the back of the stop sign in front of the Rec Center.
#71 - Victreebel: North Deck, east stairwell
#69 - Bellsprout: North Deck, east stairwell
There were some cool lego-block installations in the North Deck, but someone set them on fire… Not cool, man.
